Rebecca Cook, lead cake designer and owner of Cooks Cakes and Confections, started
decorating cakes at the age of 12, learning the craft from her mother, Doris, who had been
employed by a locally famous Indianapolis bakery (Roselyn's Bakery) during the 1940's.
Since that time, Rebecca has lost count of the number of birthday, bridal shower, and
groom's cakes that she has made, but her creative heart still lies in the wedding cakes. The
ongoing desire--to create the stunning cake of the bride's dreams, while ensuring that every
guest enjoys the taste--down to the last morsel.
